Product Description
Onnekas Chain Lube is a superior lubricant made from a blend of high molecular weight synthetic hydrocarbons and esters with a special anti-wear additive pack. The propellant is propane and liquefied petroleum gas.
Onnekas Chain Lube is formulated to have a detergent action and leaves practically no carbon deposits.
Its adhesive properties enable it to remain in position providing surface separating films for long periods and reducing the need to re-apply. It is particularly suitable for highly specialised applications where oil fling and drip need to be avoided e.g. chains, overhead tracks, and hinges. Being made from synthetic based materials Onnekas Chain Lube has friction reducing characteristics which can lower overall power consumption under
optimised lubricating conditions.

Onnekas Chain Lube is recommended as a chain link lubricant. In these and similar difficult to lubricate pin and joint applications its anti-wear and long life characteristics will provide continuous effective lubrication with minimum consumption.
The special nozzle enables clean and directional application from the aerosol.
It is advisable to clean chains thoroughly before changing over to Onnekas Chain Lube since airborne and other impurities will stick to sludges and deposits from previously used conventional mineral oil based lubricants. Such deposits may also prevent Onnekas Chain Lube from reaching the areas in the chain which are subject to wear.
